Chronos Vocal Ensemble presents both traditional masterworks and contemporary voices in choral music. Inspired by the power of the human voice, the heart’s deepest feelings, stories ancient and new, and a kaleidoscope of global traditions, Chronos performances powerfully connect performers and audiences.
The 2025-2026 Season features compositions from five centuries, including a collaboration with cathedral organist Jeremy Spurgeon, and many new works by Canadian composers. Join us on Sunday November 16, Saturday February 7, and Sunday April 26 at All Saints’ Cathedral!

This season, Chronos is moving away from paper tickets, and providing eTickets through Showpass. Your purchase will generate an eTicket by email, which includes a QR code. Add that code to your phone wallet, or open it in the email on concert day. Or, you can print the ticket page and bring it with you to the venue. Our ushers will scan the code at the door. If you have any trouble or cannot find your code, contact us, or come see us at the box office at All Saints on the day of the event and we’ll get things worked out for you.

Uplifted features Zoltán Kodály’s Missa Brevis for chorus and organ, a masterpiece completed as the composer sheltered in Budapest during the final days of WWII.
Framed by selected sacred works inspired by the Cathedral setting, this program celebrates the resilience of the human spirit and the power of music to transcend darkness.

Stuart Beatch’s “Chosen Family” & new Canadian choral works
Unbound showcases the evolving and expanding possibilities of contemporary choral sound with music by living composers, including brand new Canadian works, and several pieces commissioned and championed by the choir.
The program will feature a reprise of Stuart Beatch’s Chosen Family, commissioned by Chronos in 2023 for its 10th Anniversary.

Podium is Choral Canada’s national biennial choral Conference and Festival!
Taking place between May 14-17 in Victoria, British Columbia, Podium represents a gathering of choral voices from across Canada.
This prestigious invitation from Choral Canada is a true honour for Chronos Vocal Ensemble. The choir’s program will include Chosen Family, commissioned from Stuart Beatch for the choir’s 10th Anniversary in 2023-2024.
