This exciting three-concert season season reflects on the past, future, and present. As always, Chronos will highlight include well-loved traditional repertoire, while also featuring plenty of new music from Canadian composers.
The season begins with trail of light, featuring a newly commissioned work from composer Jeff Enns and features the premiere of our latest Composition Competition winning entry: I Am Not Yours by Gerda Blok-Wilson.
The season continues with our annual mid-winter concert in January. Always a highlight of the Edmonton choral season, this year’s awakening will feature works for chorus and solo piano by Morten Lauridsen and Jonathan Dove.
The season concludes with human heart, featuring deeply personal expressions of emotion voicing the stories and experiences of composers and songwriters spanning six centuries: from Gesualdo to Coldplay.
