In celebration of its 20th anniversary, Vocal Alchemy will take the stage at the Winspear Centre for its largest production ever, and Chronos Vocal Ensemble will be joining for a guest performance.

This exciting anniversary, supported by the Edmonton Community Foundation and a group of generous sponsors and donors, will feature a performance of Dan Forrest’s dramatic Requiem for the Living in collaboration with Chronos Vocal Ensemble. Our combined forces last performed this powerful work in November 2019. This time the choirs will be joined by a full symphony orchestra.

This performance will also feature VA’s premiere of Song of the Future for choir, piano and strings, commissioned by the choir from composer John Estacio. The text was commissioned from Alice Major, Edmonton’s first Poet Laureate.

Tickets coming soon; more information on the Vocal Alchemy website.
