Call for Interest – Chronos Board

The beautiful music and exciting programs presented by Chronos Vocal Ensemble are supported by the behind-the-scenes work of the Directors of the Chronos Music Society of Alberta. The Society Board is a skilled and dynamic group headed by President Virginia Clevette and is looking for new members to join the work.

Chronos Music Society Board members are engaged critical thinkers who bring diverse skills, perspectives, and connections, and ask good questions at the right times. In addition to playing critical oversight and governance roles, board members provide advisory insights in areas such as human resources, administration, policy development, fundraising, and financial management. Through approximately monthly meetings and committee work, the board guides and supports the ensemble’s high level of achievement.  

Since 2013, Chronos Music Society (CMS) has gained and maintained stable funding, grown its audience and reputation in Edmonton and beyond, and championed Canadian choral music. With innovation and flexibility, we have weathered the global pandemic. Now we’re looking to build on that momentum. Could you be part of the team that launches our second decade of success?
