Winter Sun
Light cuts through darkness. This thematic concert program reflects on the light of hope that cuts through grief and trouble, and celebrates the bright winter light of our northern climes.
Chronos Vocal Ensemble joins Vocal Alchemy for a tenth collaboration since 2014 on a major work with orchestra. This program features Morten Lauridsen’s Lux Aeterna.

About Us
Rooted in the classical choral tradition, yet passionate about new Canadian music, Chronos Vocal Ensemble has delighted audiences in Edmonton, across Canada, and in the northwestern USA. Chronos has been awarded the Healey Willan Grand Prize in the National Competition for Canadian Amateur Choirs, and recognized in the City of Edmonton’s Salute to Excellence.
